With one leg in Brazil, courtesy of Emmanuel Emenike’s two goals in Nigeria’s 2-1 away victory in Addis Ababa last month, Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, has released a 25-man list of players to
prosecute the 2014 World Cup play-off second leg match against Ethiopia on November 16 in Calabar.

The good news of Keshi’s list is however the return of Chelsea youth team defender, Kenneth Omeruo, who has been on the sideline following the shoulder injury he suffered during Nigeria’s Confederation Cup campaign in Brazil last June.

Keshi is also going to use the squad to prosecute the international friendly against former world champion, Italy at Craven Cottage ground of English Premiership club, Fulham FC, in a high-profile friendly in London barely 48 hours after the Battle of Calabar.

Also making his come-back to the Eagles is former Kaduna United star, Reuben Gabriel. The attack-minded Reuben who now plies his trade with Kilmarnock FC  in the Scottish league has been out of the Eagles due to injury that made him sit out his Africa Cup of Nations outing in South Africa last January.

Lille of France safe hands and stand-in skipper, Vincent Enyeama is called alongside goalkeepers Austin Ejide and Chigozie Agbim, while South Africa-based defender James Okwuosa and strikers Obinna Nsofor and Uche Nwofor also keep their places. The list also includes Africa Cup of Nations top scorer and two-goal hero in Addis Ababa, Emmanuel Emenike.

Meanwhile, Emenike continued his blistering form at the weekend, scoring his fourth goal for Fenerbache as they won 3-2 at Bursaspor on Saturday.
The Eagles striker has come off a barren run in front of goal since his arrival in the summer from Russian club Spartak Moscow.

Such form bodes very well for Nigeria ahead of the clash with Ethiopia in Calabar.
The win means Fenerbahce remains on top of the league table with 25 points from 10 games.

The former Spartak Moscow forward was on song in the 83rd minute to give Fenerbahce a 2-1 lead.

Compatriot Taye Taiwo was on from start to finish for Bursaspor.
